Details
TechnoRF is the Hytera distributor and authorised technical service centre for Türkiye. This page explains what buying through the authorised channel actually changes: warranty, spare parts, frequency software and tender documentation.
What an authorised distributor is
An authorised distributor holds a contract with the manufacturer and sources devices through the official supply chain. It is not a marketing phrase but a verifiable status that appears in the manufacturer's records and is evidenced by certificate.
| Authorised channel | Parallel import | |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer warranty | Registered by serial number | Cannot be registered |
| Spare parts | Original parts for the life of the device | Supply uncertain |
| Frequency software | Loaded to the Turkish band plan | May arrive on a foreign band plan |
| Service | Authorised service, calibration access | General repair only |
| Tender documentation | Authorised dealer certificate available | Not available |
The risk most often overlooked: frequency software
Warranty and spare-part risks are commercial. The frequency software risk is legal.
Which frequencies a professional radio transmits on is determined by the channel plan loaded into it. A device programmed for a foreign market may transmit on frequencies that are not allocated to your organisation in Türkiye — or that are reserved for public services.
Two consequences follow:
1. Interference. Transmitting over an allocated system means a communication outage for its users. Where emergency medical or disaster communication is involved, the consequences are serious. 2. Sanction. Law No. 5809 on Electronic Communications ties unlicensed establishment and use of radio equipment to administrative fines and seizure of the equipment.
Devices supplied through the authorised channel are programmed to the Turkish band plan before delivery. For systems that require a licence, the BTK application file is prepared as well.
Verifying that a device is genuine
Labels, packaging and box contents can be copied; do not judge by them. What is decisive is whether the serial number appears in the manufacturer's records.
If you are unsure about a device you already own, send us the serial number and the purchase document and we will check it against authorised service records. A negative result does not make the device unusable: chargeable service and reprogramming to the Turkish band plan remain possible.
What happens during an authorised purchase
1. Requirement analysis. User count, site size, building structure and group structure are established. 2. Technology and model proposal. A choice is made between analogue, DMR, DMR Tier III, TETRA and PoC. 3. Frequency and licensing assessment. If a licence is required, the BTK file is prepared. 4. Programming. Channel plan, group structure and encryption settings are loaded onto the devices. 5. Installation and commissioning. Repeater, antenna and feed line are installed and coverage is measured. 6. Training and handover. Users are trained and system documentation is handed over. 7. Maintenance and service. The periodic maintenance plan comes into effect.
Public procurement and tender files
Technical specifications in public tenders usually require an authorised dealer certificate, a manufacturer authorisation letter and management system certificates. TechnoRF prepares current, stamped copies of these documents for your file; the list is on the certificates page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does authorised Hytera distribution mean?
An authorised distributor has a contract with the manufacturer and sources devices through the official supply chain. It has three concrete consequences: the device is registered under the manufacturer's warranty by serial number, service work uses original spare parts, and the frequency software is loaded according to the band plan of the country of sale.
What is the risk of a parallel-import Hytera radio?
Three risks. First, warranty: no claim can be opened for a device with no manufacturer registration. Second, spare parts: battery, antenna and housing availability is not guaranteed for the life of the device. Third and most serious, frequency software: a radio programmed for another market may transmit on frequencies not allocated in Türkiye, which is an administrative offence under Law No. 5809 on Electronic Communications.
How can I verify that a Hytera radio is genuine?
Send us the serial number and the purchase document; we will check whether it is registered for warranty through authorised service records. Physical markings alone are not sufficient — labels and packaging can be copied. What matters is the manufacturer's serial-number record.
Do you service radios bought elsewhere?
Yes, on a chargeable basis. Warranty coverage, however, applies only to devices purchased through the authorised channel with a manufacturer registration. If the frequency software does not match the Turkish band plan, reprogramming is recommended.
Can I obtain an authorised dealer certificate for a tender file?
Yes. Stamped copies of the authorised dealer certificate and the ISO management system certificates can be prepared for your tender file. Send us the list of documents you need.
